Attorney Profile

A graduate of Loyola Law School and the University of California at Irvine, Tim Whisman has been representing individuals in their Social Security and SSI disability claims since he was first licensed to practice law in 1980. A long time advocate for the rights of the underdog, Tim Whisman worked for many years as a Legal Services attorney and as a public interest lawyer in private practice. In addition to advocating for the disabled, he has represented tenants facing evictions, employees who were unfairly fired, and people who were homeless. Throughout his legal career, Tim Whisman has tried to be of service to people who were doing the best that they could under difficult circumstances.

When asked about the goals of his law office, Tim responded: “I try to treat people the way that I would want to be treated.” He added: “I know my clients are no stranger to suffering. I know that they are dealing with pain and serious limitations. Losing the ability to work causes tremendous financial pressures. My job is to clear up the confusion and remove the road blocks so that my clients get what they deserve from the Social Security Administration.” As to how he practices law, he stated: “I treat each case individually and every case seriously. Every case is handled by me personally from start to finish. There is no substitute for the hard work each case requires.”

The Law Office of Tim Whisman is headquartered in Pasadena, California and cases are handled regularly throughout Southern California. Tim Whisman also represents clients all over the Western United States. Attorney’s fees are owed only if the client wins.
